If you're interested in hypnobirthing you'll find lots of information on our sister website: WOW! Hypnobirthing.
Hypnobirthing is an approach to birth that enables you to remain more calm and focused. Our course doesn't promise 'natural' birth or pain free birth; no hypnobirthing course can promise you that! However, if you take time to practice what you learn, hypnobirthing will help you to feel more calm, confident and relaxed. It provides you and your birth partner with coping strategies, including our 'rapid relaxation' technique, calm breathing, massage and movement to help you manage better during pregnancy and labour, wherever and however your baby's birth takes place on the day. You'll also learn how birth works, how to help it along and about informed decision-making, and your course will be tailored to your needs.
Most couples who attend this course are planning a straightforward birth but we can also work with you if you are planning a caesarean birth. We will adapt your course to suit you and you will receive our exclusive birth preparation audio download especially for caesarean birth. We work with a lot of people who are quite scared of birth too.
All our WOW! Hypnobirthing courses include exclusive audio downloads with the familiar voice of your practitioner, to help you prepare for a positive, calm birth.
Many clients have told us that what they learned on their WOW! Hypnobirthing course was an investment in themselves, not just in their birth, as they could apply their relaxation and breathing techniques to help them manage stressful or worrying moments in daily life, not just during labour.
WOW! Hypnobirthing is Zana and Barbara's own, independent, hypnobirthing course, developed from their combined decades of experience in developing and providing antenatal classes, hypnobirthing courses, midwifery, counselling and training. We are currently offering our hypnobirthing courses on a private 1-1 basis in person or online.
Zana's and Barbara's hypnobirthing qualification is accredited by the Royal College of Midwives
